I think you really deserve a feedback of this kind for this artwork so here I go:

I can tell you've improved a lot with your humans. Srly! This came up very well, I like the body proportions and the stand, it could look kinda simple but it gives a nice touch to the concept of your drawing.

And talking about the concept, I really like due to it's about music and I love music! ~ It's not the typical stand of "doing nothing" so it's good to know you're trying new stuff.

About your new colouring technique I can say it looks pretty good, I like the shadows and highlights, overall the way you coloured the clothes.
